Anyone heard about "Luca Sartoriale" suit. They are fully canvassed with a slim fit but I am wondering if anyone has had an experience with this label?

I'm planning on going to Fashions Night Out tomorrow here in one of the Denver suburbs. It's the first "big" fashion event I've been to since getting into clothes

and shoes, and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to wear a suit. Would it be overdressed to wear a suit? I think the high tomm is in the mid-80s.

Thanks!

What's the event? Take a look at the men in the audience at fashion shows. Some of them are wearing suits and others are wearing jeans and trendy things. Same with evening events. It depends on the vibe you want to put out. Check out the party pictures on style.com...

"Fashion's night out" is apparently some yearly thing that's been going on in major cities and it's when clothing stores get together, have a runway show, and other fashion related tasks. I think in places like NYC, LA, Milan, etc. people probably dress up for these events, but not so much in smaller cities, (see third video of Boulder, CO). I think it's mainly geared toward women, but I just like fashion and want to go.

http://youtu.be/2nn25eLHjic  (I see some suits here, but it's NY)

I'm not going to the one in Denver proper, which I could see as a better place to wear a suit. They have a niemen marcus and the fashion show will be there, and I would think that a city like Denver would have some fashionable people. I just live south of Denver, and given that I have work on Fri, don't want to drive to Denver (also don't want to pay).

dead set on wearing a midnight navy suit with a dark brown shoe as a guest for a wedding( some may disagree, but I know the occasion best..)
Just wondering what kind of tie I should wear?

I'd say dark navy or burgundy.

I would definitely go for a neck tie.

I just became the owner of the following two odd jackets:

Here are close-ups of the materials:

I am wondering what the styles of these jackets are.  Also, any recommended shirt/pants combos as well.  The top is black with white and blue/gray threading and the bottom is tan with brown/black threading.

with a white or light blue shirt, you could literally pick just about any tie as long as it's not black.

With a lavender or pink shirt, you could also have a good selection, but something closer to either the pink or lavender would work best. I.E. Lavender shirt, dark purple tie, with a navy suit,  good looking brogue and a contrasting pocket square, perhaps a light blue paisley or polka dot, would be excellent and would be my choice in a fall or winter situation Match the socks to the square, the tie, or the shirt for some fun or to your navy suit to rain it in. You could also go white cotton pocket square to bring it down some as well.

If it's in the fall or winter, I would suggest a wool or cashmere tie to set yourself apart from the crowd... and in so doing get the bridesmaids' attention as well.

If in the spring/summer, a bowtie might show well, or a cotton tie with a small pattern and light summer color, perhaps a lime green or baby blue. Personally here I would go with the light blue shirt, with a cotton paisley tie in a light color in the spring, and pick up one of the colors in the paisley with the pocket square.

Hope this helps!!!

I've been debating heading down to the DC one tomorrow, just to sniff it out. If I do, I probably won't wear anything too special- OCBD and a bowtie with jeans and a linen sportcoat, or something along those lines. I would think the general idea would be to wear something you would regard as fashionable- this is almost certainly a two way deal, with representatives from major brands watching it to get an idea of street trends. I don't think there are any rules on what's appropriate in terms of formality- I'm sure you'll see a pretty wide range.

I'm considering buying a pair of black chelsea boots from the company Bexley, and plan on wearing with either casual wear (chinos, jeans, slacks), or occasionally a suit. Should I go with the Flager or Jermyn pair?

Flager:
