Just to clarify, I only bumped this one time since I saw other people bumping posts. Sorry to upset you.

Heavy-weight Bill's will obviously be...heavy. I don't really like the cut either. Dockers are crap. Try the Brooks Brothers Milano lightweight Advantage, as previously suggested, or the regular weight ones for fall wear. If you click on Steve Smith's signature, he may have some deals on these: http://www.styleforum.net/t/312626/new-brooks-brothers-pants-milano-bbcc-black-fleece-fitzgerald-regent-madison-many-new-added-8-25-best-selection-ever OTOH, you already pissed him off. biggrin.gif

With a sportcoat? No way.

always happy to help.

Would a pair of  77% cotton and 23% linen trousers work with a unlined sportcoat in washed cotton? Not only would it work, would it look good? In terms of texture and so forth.

Pictures of said texture might be helpful. In a vacuum, what you propose sounds fine, but it would depend on the particular items.

There are far too many factors to consider without seeing how it is being put together...

The fabric seems so casual to me that you could only pair with something like a tweed or more casual fabric.

Should I pick these "Wurkin Stiffs" collar stays for the perfect roll or do MC'ers have a better suggestion? Price is not really an issue but I do not need something like sterling silver etc. Just something that will work and give the ideal collar roll.

Just wondering if the collar will stand too erect or have a nice roll with the stays.
Any other recommendations for collar stays from 'X Y Z'?

When wearing a shirt untucked, where should it stop?
