Are your family members picky about this sort of thing? If not, wear what you like better. Regardless I would wear a white shirt if you are concerned about formality.

I just got the Fitzgerald, it is more trim looking, I tried on a Regent and it is more loose. Go to their website it explains the different styles.

Like I just said, I just bought a Fitzgerald suit, in navy for my wedding in October.  Now I need a nice dress shirt, preferably white.  Any suggestions?  thanks

What's your definition of nice? I would have just picked up a Brooks Brother ESF french cuff dress shirt.

Why not stick with a brooks brother's shirt as well? French Cuffs. It all really depends on your budget.

Something that fits me well.  Budget is around $150.  I may go back to brooks brothers I have some gift certificates I got after buying the suit.

It could be #2, or #1 and #2:

1. You have a very erect posture.
2. The suit's back is slightly stretched and sagged from being on a poor hanger.

So opening a package for a new OCBD, I accidentally clip the pocket with my knife (it's really sharp). What to do about this? Can I just try some Krazy Glue on it:

^ yes, but it'll look like crap. That sucks. Hard. Maybe MOL can chime in with a MacGyver fix.

Would a champagne colored tie with the navy suit and white dress shirt look good?  That is what my fiancee wants!   I am afraid the shirt and tie would not pop as much with the navy suit.  Our colors for our wedding are sage green and pink.  So I thought I would maybe pick a tie in that family of colors but she wants me in champagne, I don't know if it matches her dress or what!  Are there different shades of champagne that would not look too muted?

Champagne would equate to something in the yellow family. I would say this might not work out so well stylistically for you. If anything the shirt and the tie might have a contrast issue, not the suit. But in the end, do what your future wife wants, it will make your life a lot easier...

I know not to fight her on it. I have already lost a few battles.  lol

I think that is what I meant that the tie and the shirt would blend in too much.  We shall see what happens.  I may model it for her and see if she notices it.

What if I wore a pale blue shirt?
