Tailors. In Singapore. Anything even close to a chan-type experience?

I'm looking for a briefcase that's sturdy and fashionable, yet isn't made of animal hide/skin. Does such a thing exist?

canvas or wool offerings from orvis, filson etc. Some of them don't have leather trim on them. Tend to be a bit on the casual side though...

Thank you very much, sir. I agree, they do look very casual-- there's no denying that the leather cases are in another class stylistically, but I'm hoping to find some good options elsewhere.

That shirt shouldnt be worn, full stop. Not sure either of those ties should either; the one on the right might be bearable in the unlikely even that it doesn't look too cheap.

If you MUST wear that shirt, solid grey wool tie.

Tie on the right isn't completely terrible, could be worn with a solid summer weight SC/Blazer (pref navy) and a PLAIN white shirt, but even then its a bit iffy

When I try on dress shirts, a 17.5 neck fits me perfectly in the neck.

Should I upsize 0.5 to account for shrinkage?

It depends on what the occasion is. Are you wearing out casually? Go with Liam's advice. Is this a job interview? None of the above. Ideally, you shouldn't be wearing a tie with a casual shirt to begin with. Lastly, everything in that photo should be burned.

anyone familiar with Brooks Brothers 1818 Regent Suits? Not too familiar with suiting brand/quality but found one at about 300usd brand new. Just need a nice formal suit for events, etc.
feedbacks/comments/suggestions for other brands appreciated.

I am going to a family affair that begins at 4PM and goes until 8 in April.  The X instructed me to wear a suit.   Is 4PM still afternoon and okay for a light grey sharkskin suit, or do I need to go with Navy for evening?

They are good for the money. Many people here prefer the Fitzgerald, however.
