For those that wear dress shirts everyday is 19 dress shirts too many? I need room in my closet.

What's your take on patch pocket positioning? I've heard/read that the tops should match the bottom button or be near its level. Here's the fit I posted on WAYWRN last week where my coat matches the description:

I know It's on the long side, but I like how the pocket positioning looks.

This is another patch pocket number. This time, I think the length is a lot better. However, notice how the top of the patches are almost halfway between the buttons:

I feel this positioning looks a bit off and they also seem huge, but I don't know how it will end up if I move them down a bit and/or have them shortened.

^ still pretty new but they do look a bit big and high. The patch pockets on my oxxford is at the level of the bottom button. Not sure if it's worth the work of moving them though.

There happens to be a giant pinned thread on the subject covering all different options and price ranges. Though Brooks Brothers Tailored fit stuff gets talked about a whole lot on here, that's one to start with.

Thanks for the responses.

Also, what goes well with black/white bengal stripe dress shirt. Would like pant and tie color combos please. I used to do black pants and shoes before SF, but it seems inappropriate now.

Good day everyone. I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this question but please point me in the right direction. I'm originally from Michigan and I moved to Miami, Florida. Now i know what most people think of Miami and its native scene, but its really hot here! I mean its humid and steamy and worst thing is, i ride a sports bike in Miami. Anyways, I thought I'd come by this website and ask someone, anyone, for god's sake, I'm asking for help. Ive been everywhere here. Been to every single mall, and store. Its ironic that living in Miami they don't sell clothes here for this type of climate. I'm looking for a pair of cotton pants. I prefer them in black. But I'm looking for a pair that are cotton yet real thin, I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT LINEN. I'm talking about a pair of thin material pants that are like twill maybe? Or that type of material that is used for those pants women wear that look like cargo pants. You know what I'm talking about? Hope you do. I cant stress enough the frustration and needless extra work that i am going through because i don't have the right apparel. I also couldn't find any pair of jeans that are thin as well. I'm not talking about a special way they cut them or whatever, just regular, simple, thin pair of jeans. What I mean about "thin" is not the heavy, bulkiness of a regular jean. I'm sure there are hundred upon hundred of questions herein this post. But if there is anyone out there reading this who understands my frustration, my ongoing bitterness that i must carry for crappy clothing and not the proper clothing I'm looking for, then please, help me and point me in the right direction. I'd be much appreciated.

Does any one know a good tailor in Tokyo? I need to get some pants and shirts adjusted.

I know some places where I can get a MTM suit/shirts, but not any places I can take things I already own that I'd like to adjust.

Thanks for any help!
