That was initially my thought of suit looking dated. I just have normal Ermenegildo Zegna suits but never had experience with "Su Misura" so I had to ask. The jacket size seems fine for me, but the trouser is just way too big.. oh well. Thanks for answering though!

As was suggested by another member. I am looking into some C&J's. I checked out their website and they either have the shoes in a dark brown or a chestnut color, or in a tan. They don't seem to have a happy medium brown.

Is there any brands you can recommend around the same price point?

Now you are on the right track. Those shoes were bad and would not look right with a suit.

I have found that C&J's dark brown is not really all that dark. In fact I'm looking for a dark brown hoe because the Audley I bought as dark brown is really a medium brown.

Okay, what's the deal with RL Polo "bears?" I see this mentioned from time to time, and I see that RL Polo has a ursine theme going, but are these items rare/special/collectible?

I ask partly because I came across a RL Polo tie with bears (and top hat and cane) on it and didn't know if it's something worth putting on ebay.

Does anyone know what model these Aldens are?

Is it a difficult process to take in the chest by 1.5 to 2 inches? The shoulders and everything else fits except the chest.

Anyone know anything about Oxxford "Rare Editions"? I've seen the Onwentsia cut many times before, but never this.

Does anyone recognize this jacket? Is it a Belstaff?

I own some lighter weight MTM trousers that have taping on the inside of the hem -- I didn't request it, but that's how they were made, so OK. They do help them hang a little straighter, and although I don't have a problem with "billowing" either way (you might want a narrower leg if that's happening for you), when I'm wearing ankle boots it does seem to mitigate the tendency of the back of the pant to get caught on the back of the boot.

Is this black Corneliani suit worth kopping cheap despite SF's general opinion that black suits are best left for evening wear and hence are less versatile? Or would my limited funds be better served by waiting for more of a stock suit to add to my currently limited supply?

I think you answered your own question there.

Its a nice suit, but better to get staple colors first.

Have a couple long sleeve dress shirts that need to be tailored. The sleeves are a bit baggy and need to be taken in so they fit more snug on my arms. Local tailor quoted a price of $18 for each shirt. Yay or nay on this price?

Sounds reasonable.

OK This is a dumb question.

I bought a DB flannel jacket, but they don't have cuff buttons. The button was made of wood. Where can I find it? My past experience was they always will give you buttons somewhere, but there's only a very small one (for the internal pocket) can be found. baldy[1].gif I don't want return because I like the jacket. Is that OK to

Thanks in advance. Gents.
