Have to see if you have any fabric to let out. Take it to a tailor to find out.

1. Can you wear a pea coat over jacket/tie? Or do you need a topcoat over jacket/tie? Is it common to wear pea coat / top coat with shirt and tie, and skip the suit jacket?

2. What neckwear is the classic neckwear to go with a blazer (navy, gold buttons, pretty standard)

3. Should you wear a pocket square with a blazer?

Thanks!

1. yes, but not a suit

2. Stripe tie

3. No

It isn't extremely important where you hang them out.  All the location affects is the dry-time.  In a humid climate, things will dry out faster indoors.  If it is windy outside, however, things will dry faster out of doors rather than in doors.  Unless you have a time crunch, don't worry about the location.

Any idea where I can find a nice pair of gray (ideally mid-gray) wool gloves with brown suede palms? A nice lining would be a bonus.

The closest pair I've found so far has been the Woolrich John Rich & Bros Wool and Leather Gloves on Park and Bond: http://www.parkandbond.com/product/84423979 But not only are they sold out, I know for a fact that they're actually navy plaid, not "dark charcoal."

If the suit is otherwise conservative, most folks probably won't notice. But typically the one-button comes with a bit of styling flair, so you have to consider the cut as a whole to determine its appropriateness for a given circumstance.

have you ever heard about a 2 roll 1? i believe i am in possession of a thrifted sports coat that has this strange button configuration

It helps if you spin them in the washer to get most of the water out. I lay them up against the outer wall of the basket as smoothly as I can, and pull the knob with the other hand.

I hang upside down with about 5 or 6 clothespins across the cuffs (don't fold the cuffs over the line), and dress out the creases and waistband with my hands. Sometimes I don't even need to iron them.

Check it out: I've got me a sweet royal(ish) blue suit that I'm gonna be sporting in a couple of days at a wedding...

I've worn it before with black wheels, white shirt and a lighter, sky(ish) blue tie...

But i'm trying to work sum sweet dark(ish) brown shoes into the mix...

Am I any chance?

FYI: It's summer here in Aus...

Post picture. It could just be a really short two button making it seem that way.
