work with a white shirt underneath and beeswax Clark's? Those aren't the actual chinos I'd wear, but they're the same color and do look similar lol.
Should I wear a brown belt that matches my shoes even if I'd be wearing a brown belt on grey chinos? Doesn't that look weird?
If my sweater goes over my belt, should I tuck it in?

I really think you need to go shopping, pal! laugh.gif I think it would work, but it really doesn't look great. Also, i would do a light blue shirt under the sweater. A white shirt would be too formal looking with that outfit and provide way too much contrast with those colors. Also, with those sort of "drab" or earthy colors people might think you're a socialist.

Red and neutral yes, blue for a nice twist.

I'm having a hard time choosing between these shoes to buy. Sometimes I want to wear little more casual and have a pair of shoes that will fit with a pair of jeans or manchester pants.

What do you think?

Those double monks are nice but I think the suede loafers woul look a lot more casual with jeans (IMHO).

Make sure you know what you're getting into with the last on those Lowndes. It's quite sleek. IMHO they look better with a tailored pant or a suit. I'd say the loafers are more versatile and the suede makes them more casual.

In my opinion neither are good for casual because the 348 last is far too pointy.

First post, let me know if I'm doing anything wrong.

Can anyone help me find somewhere that sells ties like the one Barney is wearing on the left in this picture: http://www.blogcdn.com/www.aoltv.com/media/2010/02/himymtheperfectweek425.jpg

He's the one on the left in case you didn't know.

Specifically I'm looking for a tie that has the area of  plaid near the bottom and then on strip further up the tie with the rest of it solid. I look all over the place but can't seem to find any. Thanks!

Thinking about buying this coat on Ebay. I like the color, but I'm not sure if the big lapels are a bit dated, It's vintage from the 70s. Thoughts?
