I'm open to brogueing, wingtips, cap toes, whatever. Suggestions, or is this a lost cause? If the latter, is there something that comes close to what I've described?

I have a dark navy blue suit and am currently trying to pick between dark brown park avenues and fifth avenues as an interview shoe. I felt that as I'll likely be picking up some black park avenues in the near future, it would be nice to have the fifth avenues as a dark brown captoe, but was curious as to if you guys felt this was interview appropriate. I know this kind of question has been beaten to death, but opinions would be appreciated.

If it's a question of the PAs vs FAs, I would be fine wearing fifth aves, irrespective of colour. If it's a question of colour, some will say that black is most appropriate.

Not as long as the existing button-holes are non-functional.

They are non-functional, but they have fake button-hole stitching around each as well. I suppose that stitching can be undone? I should have snapped pictures of the cuff as well....

1. Besides the sleeve length, is there any other glaring fit issues with this jacket?

Thanks in advance, guys.
ETA: My apologies for the image host I used for this pic -- it seems to have NSFW advertising that I had not noticed when adding the image. This is not a problem if you don't click to enlarge the photo, though....

The fit is good, if a bit short. For a casual jacket I think that is fine, but it's a matter of taste. The sleeves are no problem if there are not working button holes (tailor just moves the buttons). If they are working button holes, they must be shortened from the shoulder, which is much more expensive to have done.

Ah, okay. I know what you mean. Can't help you, I'm afraid.

Can someone please help me with my Brooks Brother Calfskin collection question:

What model are the Allen Edmonds penny loafers they are offering on Brooks Brother calfskin collection?

Also, what are the differences between the Brooks Brothers' version and the AE version of the same shoe.

What happened to the sponsors section?

More so, I was trying to find the belt thread section. My pant waist is 34 and most slacks I wear 34, so what size should I go by? Do I ususally buy 2 sizes up?

I tried the two sizes up idea and my allen edmonds belt ended up being a bit snug. You might want to try to get a measurement to be safe

Depends. Are you a Scottish sailor? Or a school girl?

Depends on you but I think a matching kilt would be required shog[1].gif

Just got a medium grey dark pink pin-stripe suit today(suit only no pants), cloth from Zegna, 3-button, side vented. It fits really good, so I took it.

any suggestion on what pants could go with this suit?

You shouldn't wear a suit jacket with different trousers.

If there's no pants then it's not a suit.

And as Ich Dien says, a suit jacket should only be worn with the matching trousers. Sometimes you can break this rule without most people caring, such as a navy jacket doubling as a makeshift blazer, but certainly not with anything with pin-stripes.
