But call the police.

Yeah I don't get it either. If you were going to give him your money anyways you should have just done it at the start and you wouldn't have taken 3 blows to the head.

You won't do revenge, if you wouldn't stand up for yourself there you won't go and seek revenge on someone. It's not in your character obviously.

You need to have a different mentality in seedy areas. You need to always be on the watch of your surroundings and you need to handle yourself in a different way.

When I was in high school, there was a guy who let another kid goad him into a fight. He won the fight, but later the instigator came back with a group of friends and they beat the guy so bad that he died. Call me what you want, but I'd rather run away with my bones, eyes, teeth and life intact.

What I find worrisome is that the OP has yet to respond since leaving that last and very vague message.

If someone has a knife they'll threaten it with you first. It's common sense really. If someone has a knife, or a bunch of friends with them then most people will chose flight rather than fight.

Speaking from what I've seen, jackers go for people who they think aren't willing to fight back, so if they can smell your fear you're fucked.

Speaking from what I've seen, Pacific Islanders are big big fucking dudes.

I wouldn't count on this. Knives are pretty easy to conceal and in some circumstances people may only pull them if they feel threatened. If you look like an easy person to steal from then they might not pull it right away.

Better not let em know you're scared then.

I'm pretty sure if I drop the name 'TyCooN from the internet' they'll back right off. Probably give the twenty five bucks back too.

Bullshit, what experience, if any, do you have with people pulling knives on you? Also keep in mind the lawful difference between mugging somebody with your bare hands vs. using a deadly weapon (knife).

You misunderstood me here. I meant that if the OP did indeed kick the guy's ass; the guy is going to want to get him back... and will probably want more than his tuck-shop money the second time round.

Common sense my ass. I know several people who have been stabbed. None of them saw the knife coming. In fact, one of them--who I actually saw getting stabbed--did not even know he had been stabbed until he saw blood after the fight wound down, which I understand is a common occurrence.

Aren't you Americans allowed to carry guns??? Couldn't you just pop a few rounds in him and claim self defense?? I wish I was allowed to carry my gun around in my country

No concealed carry in Hawaii.
