is this a women's coat?

Look at the tag. It's listed as a US 12. Were men's clothes ever sized as 2,4,6, etc like women's clothes? Also, I think the toggles close from the women's side, though I don't know which side that is supposed to be on duffle coats (or British coats for that matter).

Does it really matter? If you're willing to wear a bright red duffle coat, you're clearly in touch with your feminine side.

well I wouldn't wear that one in particular. It's too little red riding hood. I've been looking at duffle coats on ebay and it seems a lot of the "vintage skinny" coats might actually just be women's coats.

Men's toggles are on the right side. Browse Gloverall's website to see the difference. I recently picked up a gloverall on ebay and during my search had to be sure I double checked each coat I was looking at because a lot of sellers mix this up.
