Has anyone ever heard of this brand? I purchased a pair today from Nordstroms today, and tried to find out about the brand online, but couldn't find any information using google.

Any information will be appreciated and helpful.

Try posting some pictures ... the regular outside, inside with markings & sole and heel.

Hmm, another of the infamous vero cuolo leathers....

I apologize for the (very) late bump. However, the only helpful "Bettaccini shoes" Google result is this thread. Hopefully this can be a repository for people looking for more info.

Like the original poster, I bought a pair at Nordstrom from the sale rack. I didn't see any other Bettaccinis elsewhere in the store, and the sales guy wasn't very helpful when I asked him about the brand.

They're solidly made and I'd recommend them to anyone who comes across a pair. I'm curious if Bettaccini is an actual stand-alone brand or a one-off partnership with Nordstrom. Thanks in advance for any info.

Here are some pics for the curious:

So the shoe says, "Made in Italy" in three places, huh.

What are they trying to compensate for

The company motto on the box is "Shoes for the well-dressed man with severe short-term memory loss. PS - Made in Italy."

Vero Cuoio - Just means "real leather" literally....the leater...I don't know what that is

Just in case they get seperated on the way to China.

Corrected grain, bad leather. Glued.

Most are special purchased to Nordstrom Rack stores for like 60 bucks a pop.

I see them for $30 in Nordstrom Rack. They look like fake shoes.

It is made in Firenze (or Monte Catini Termi). Nearly all production is for Gucci and alike stores
