Duchamps! My first pair. The colors are much more vibrant than this picture. And then a pair of Pantherella's in lilac. I don't care much for Panthers as I don't feel the quality matches the price but I got these for 1/2 off.



Also a lovely loden scarf with burnt sienns and burnt umber hashmarks ala Rennie Mackintosh from Lochcarron of Scotland; finally a white linen pocket square with each edge trimmed in a different fall color.

^^ Very nice. Where'd you get the Duchamps? I've only seen their neckwear sold at Nordstroms in the MOA, and they no longer carry them

I was in Omaha over the weekend and they are now carrying the Duchamps (and the St. Croix's) at Parsow's.

You in the Twin Cities? I am too- I'm going to ask Heimie's in St. Paul if they'll consider carrying both brands. They carry Marcoliani's now, also Byford and something else. They carried Carolina Artisan's until they went out of business.

This is the first shirt I've bought with contrasting collar and cuffs.

Just bought 9 pairs of pantherellas, but those will be going up on sales section for $13 each. Im upset to let them go seeing as how I only have 3 pairs of pantherellas my self.

Is that one of the T&A-made RLPL shirts element02?


Quite tempted to keep this RLPL for myself. We'll see. It is wearable with Black Tie as well as White, isn't it?

It looks like it was made by T&A, though I'm not too familiar with the English RLPL shirts to know for sure. I'm curious as to when this was made?

Quite a while ago. I can't recall exactly when they switched to Lorenzini, but it's got to be at least about 5 years ago.

What do you wear them with?

I haven't worn them yet but will with a charcoal suit and black captoes at some point.

I also have a light-colored pair of pants on the bench and a houndstooth jacket. When they arrive I may try them too.

I do tend towards pretty loud socks. Not garish- and no, never any little figures on them but I've plenty of Marcoliani's that are orange, green striped, all kinds actually... one that's light blue with little pink flowers.

I just ordered 4 new Finamores. Just hate the waiting..

I got a Hickey Freeman suit today at Neiman Marcus Last Call for $300 plus 20% off for opening an account. It's a wool-cashmere blend: Forgive the crappy picture; it's the only one I thought to take while I had the suit on. I also got a T&A tie, a few pairs of Pantherellas, and a NM Made in Italy merino sweater. The saleslady said a new round of reductions starts tomorrow so I'll probably head back there this weekend. I have my eye on a couple of suits at the BB outlet there as well, namely a solid charcoal (which I desperately need) and a charcoal glen plaid with a faint blue windowpane. Omaha shopping sucks. I might move out here permanently.

Just bought seven pairs of Woodlore Cedarbrooke trees from STP. Was going to get five, then needed a $75 order to get 10% off. I have two pairs of wood-toed, plastic-heel trees and the rest are make-do plastic thingys. I figure even if I cannot put them all to immediate use (though I'm pretty sure I can), they are definitely a lifetime purchase I will enjoy having.

If I have committed a grave mistake, let me know.
