C&J Millbank

NIce boots. On Sale at Barney's? I just picked up the same pair at the Barney's Sale, but I must have been to giddy about the price and which caused me to completely forget that I already own a pair of dark brown suede boots from Ron Rider. I am still contemplating keeping the C&J boots them since I bought them on sale and because I have bit of a problem when it comes to shoes. Regardless, enjoy yours!

I will let you know what I think of the suit when the new replacement one arrives.

Interesting on the Hadleigh's. The store is a bit too dandy for me, but they have neat and very nice stuff. They like a very short cut jacket, so when I tried on a 38R (being a 38L), it was comically short. There's one picture on their Facebook page of a guy in a double-breasted tuxedo... and it's about 5 inches too short. However, when I tried one of their sport coats on, I really liked the shoulder execution and the armhole size; they are done very well. The upper-body was great, it would just need to be lengthened in MTM to fit me. However, at a starting price of around $3k for a sport coat (I believe) I won't be trying them out right now.

While their slippers are a bit too dandy for me as well, my girlfriend wants a pair, so I'll likely be buying some for her soon shog[1].gif. The slippers seem to be their bread and butter though, selling them in Neiman Marcus as well.

A shirt yesterday and today a box from Drake´s came smile.gif
Shirt (Click to show)

First shirt from this maker. Great fit for me since it has shorter arms and they are also quite tight. Hate when shirt arms is like a sack.
Drake´s scarves and a tie (Click to show)

The red one is for my girlfriend, she loved it. Tie is purple but hard to capture the texture and true color in the non existing daylight.

Had a great time chatting with Kirby yesterday. It was nice not to have to wait for a postman and to get to talk with someone who shares an interest in clothing. Picked up a ton of stuff from him as well:

Tomorrow comes the the shoe cleaning. I think my plan is to smoke the cigar and drink some scotch while doing the shoe maintenance tomorrow.
