G&G Rothschild in vintage chestnut on DG70 from Nick A. @ Bespoke England. I actually purchased in Oct./Nov as a X-Mas gift and I'm just officially opening now. I'll probably take more pics tomorrow in natural light . . .
Ditto, though I've never seen it in person so I'm just going by photos. Novel and interesting looking, but really?

Just for stitchy:
there are no breaks or fuse points at all. Its a perfect whole cut. Below you will find photos that will hopefully better dispel any speculation, and I remain available to further clarify with, and not limited to the following :
- more photos
- high definition video
- 3D scans
- MRI's
- Notarized letters
The belt (and while this is pure speculation, might further assist you in making determinations based on internet imagery) is made of an animal who was of great importance in his social subset. This magnificent beast was raised in the finest farms, held in regard amongst his peers for having amazing tiles (similar to having good hair, I suppose), full of depth and texture, full of gloss. He was the product of two outstanding parents, beasts extending past 16 feet in nature. Their sex was magical to create such a perfect animal, and the Gods cried at the birth of this beast. When his moment of surrender came at the hands of the people paid by Avi Rossini, this beast took his prehistoric hand and saluted the hand that slayed him, ready to adorn my waist. He knew that a battle against online speculation was about to ensue regarding his tile placement, and stretched out his limbs before his captors, and accepted his fate willingly. With a gimmer in his eye and a note tucked inbetween his black claws, he went quietly in to that goodnight. After succumbing to his wounds (not a gunshot or a knife wound, god forbid! To damage the tiles would be such a travesty - he was given a potent combination of barbituates and bourbon) he was carefully carved while his captors sang Cumbayah and prayed. On the table where he lay, the note was opened and unfolded. The leathermakers read it aloud and it said:
"Do not make me a fucking belt with seams"
Hope that helps clarify.
poast of the year in this thread.

I have to say that these shoes may have just moved to the top of the food chain in my shoe closet. Next to my EG Windsor's of course
Aside from the last, which I like but would place just below the JL 7000 and EG 888 in terms of personal preference, I'm in shock and awe of G&G's skills.
