I associate Moncler with the people who bum around the Champs Élysées area during Paris winters. it was literally a sea of black puffies when I visited there. I own a Moncler myself, don't know why on earth, since I live in FL and don't ski

VERY odd that Moncler has just come up today!

It was bloody freezing this morning so when preparing to cycle back from my gf's to Venice I asked if I could borrow a hat.

"You can keep it if you'd like..I think it was an old boyfriend's"

Did I do well? Should I burn it? I don't bum around the Champs Élysées much...

Keep it and use it while doing the dirty to show dominance, totally alpha.

Also it looks stupid in my opinion to ski with something like that, it's a sport, not a runway.

Well it's not just Zermatt. Moncler is famous everywhere in the world when it comes to skiing. They make great stuff and many use it for that reason.

I always use my moncler or peak skii jacket when snowboarding. No problem at all, have used it 2 years now and it still works fine. My experience: good, that's it.

Took a trip to James Smith & Sons for my gf's Christmas present. Dark green canopy with cherrywood handle and burgundy tassel.

Also picked up an unstructured pique cotton PRL blazer. 2 patch pockets, functioning cuffs and machine washable icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Most people I see on the slopes with Moncler wear the regular 'street' jackets, those aren't technical at all. And even their technical ski jackets aren't that technical.
I wouldn't want to be waist deep in the pow with them, nor will it take the abuse of tree or park skiing. It's a bit silly too me, if you are going for the more fashion concious aspect of skiing their are brands as Vuarnet. But in most cases a brightly coloured jacket 1/4 the price will be so much better made and so much more technical then a Moncler jacket.

The people I see who are serious about skiing, never wear Moncler. I have nothing against the brand, just against using it as ski attire. wink.gif
