I missed out on Spoo's LuxeSwap sale of one of these that went to a mind boggling price, so I went a-hunting and scored one that I think is the exact same. Regardless, I love it. It's a woven Tom Ford that has a fantastic combination of magenta/silver/mauve to present as a stunning purple but still reveal lots of subtle nuance up close.

I don't wear ties for work, so I only get them for special occasions. Looking forward to sporting this with a navy suit at an upcoming xmas party!
Regarding the chukkas, nice workmanship, but a casual chukka boot is the last place I want to see a high waist -- I'm sure it's very comfortable, but it looks unspeakably baroque and 19th century. Perhaps less noticeable in person.
