Not all VdR shirts will have this amount of handwork, which might be a good thing as that should mean lower prices. According to my SA these are near the top tier but he also saw some with 17 (or so) handmade steps.
(On a personal note, I could do without most of these details. Only thing I insist on are nice MoP buttons, and while I do appreciate nice handstitched buttonholes I could take or leave the rest of it. Well, apart from the Etichetta, obviously
