It's probably ok as a casual shirt ( not my kind of style though). Wouldn't wear it with a suit and tie. I know Eton make a quality shirt, but there is always something that keeps me from buying: crazy contrast buttons, contrast collar lining etc...

First time ever I go by this... did I make a mistake here.. Since I mostly wear suit and tie at work.

i dont think its ugly, nor do i think you made a mistake. but i also dont think it will work with a SC, probably great with nice chinos though. its good to have nice casual shirts.

It might just be a question of taste, but the stripes and the quite dark colour would keep me from wearing it with a suit and tie - then again I wear light blue shirts 4 out of 5 workdays

French matches the formality of the cutaway collar. You could try the shirt with a tan or sand colored suit, red or orange neat tie, and brown suede shoes.

Just return it. If you need that much thought on how to wear something, it's probably not worth having.

I tend to agree with Fraiche - unless you happen to have a tan or a sand coloured suit - not everyone does

On sale can't be returned and of course I think a lot before I wear something. Clothes is my second life that's why I became a member here.

put on some jeans, roll up the sleeves, show some chest rug and wear it on a night out
