Decided to get a non-quartz casual watch. Went small-time to begin with... I'll move up soon. Looking at an IWC or ubiquitous Rolex as a law school graduation gift. But for now, I've got this Seiko:
Also decided to pick these up the other day.
Cream/burgundy pocket square (Ben Silver):
And navy blue with white pindot bowtie (Ben Silver):
Never tried to tie one when it wasn't around my neck before... sorry.
Over teh last week.
Various Valextra goodies (all new except the CC holder)
Navy with black edging A4 sized portfolio/envelope
Ecru with black edging Pass Port sized envelope I use for notes/bills when in a suit
Ecru with black edging note-pad with paper stamped with my Chinese name
Ecru with black edging name card holder which has a nice section for my cigar cutter
Not pictured:
Ecru with black edging 6 key holder
Dark green with black edging travel wallet
Drakes reversible wool scarf and tie. The quality is ridiculously high.
Good choice. I've been drooling over that stuff for a while. PG, cool gear. I'd love some detail shots of the inside of those Valextra goodies if you get a chance. I'm especially curious how your cigar cutter fits in there.
Martin Margiela Parachute Waistcoat. I hate to look like one of those dime-a-dozen followers who wear these at every mall in the country, so I sometimes wear it backwards to add my own twist and show individual style. It's a tough call, though, because I like to remain true to the designer's vision as well, so wearing it backwards can be a bit of an aesthetic compromise.
