Yup, cheaper than my lunch today. biggrin.gif This was a cross post from the thrift store bragging thread, but I figured it was a nice enough acquisition for my first post over here with you gents.

Is that a Vanda? If yes please comment on your thoughts. I was thinking of getting that one.

Yes, it is from Diana and Gerald at Vanda.
My thoughts: the stitching is so good that, if you did not know better, you'd have to check that it was done by hand.
It's called "Orange Gardens" and is made from a beautiful Japanese kimono silk. Springy, and has a lovely feel to it.
Lovely vibrant colours. The pics on the site do not do it justice. I am well pleased, as with everything I have purchased form Vanda.

The lapel pins are really lovely too. I don't like to leave the lapel buttonhole redundant and these are ideal. Plan to buy a few more as they are a steal at only $25 SGD a pair.

This is the new stuff I bought with Spoo's check.

Some hankies from Malford.

A few staple shirts and ties (shirts by Borrelli and Corneliani, from VRaivio and PocketCircle, ties by Mattabisch and Sartorio, i.e. Kiton, from Ich Dien)

Pal Zileri Sartoriale line tie from Malford.

A Pal Zileri Sartoriale scarf and a few Pantharella socks (all from B&S)

And last...Borrelli Sorrento jacket in wool-silk fabric
