The polo sweater in my photo above is cotton, but as it was I think $26, I don't really need it to last forever.

So i've heard. Maybe should try something out from there, and as you said for that price it's really ok. Zara is spanish company or was it german?

Spanish. I'll echo the sentiments above, the quality is a step up from H&M, but I rarely (read: never) buy things full price at Zara. We have 4 or more stores here and it seems that if I'm patient enough, everything will eventually go on sale.

They're probably worth it if they're your style. I bought a pair of casual shoes from Zara and they aren't terrible for the price. Most of their leather shoes are made in Spain or Morocco I believe. My drives and soft sole moccasins don't last more than a summer anyway, so $50 isn't too bad.

Actually, I've seen Zara's shoes in person and even I would avoid them.

Their belts are pretty good though.

For a $50 pair of shoes you wear in the car to and from work? I'd say they're simply leather shoes at a price point, not bench made.

Been interested lately in vintage watches. Added the Girard-Perregaux last month and this 60's vintage 14K Omega today...

Thanks, but they just have AE trees in them. The actual brand sounds like some sort of pasta dish.

Well they are great for 50 bucks just to wear when driving. Can throw them after a month or so.
