If they're functional, don't the "beads" do a lot of sloshing around while you're arms are moving? That sounds like it would get annoying fast.

They are pretty small, so they're relatively silent unless you shake them vigorously. That said, I've yet to wear them, so I'm not entirely sure how they perform in the real world.
