Alan, do you own any other RRL products? If not, you're in for a treat. I love my RRL jeans.

As for my purchases, nothing big really. I found this pair of Allen Edmonds Torinos in my size for $15 at the discount store today...

They will make great casual "long walk" shoes.

I bought a Lanvin pocket square today. Black satin border with a grey textured centre. The other side is a dark grey with the same lighter grey textured centre.

In the last couple of weeks I picked up a fantastic Luciano Barbera Sartoriale sportcoat, and a wonderful Glaser Designs Litigation bag. Both from the B&S here, and both for GREAT prices!

Picked up the navy JP Tilford suit today. The adjustments are perfect. The head tailor there knows his stuff.

Wanted to get some Testoni cap toes in the most beautiful brown suede. Couldn't pull the trigger, even with 50% off. Spent way too much this holiday season.

Seriously ph, what is your collection now? I think I kind of have the same preferences you have in watches. Utilitarian styling, sometimes understated, sometimes military style utilitarian and bold. Very masculine watch choices you make imo. I like the contrast with tailored clothing.
- I'm embarrassed to list what I have purchased this year.. Let's say one can safely say that every month my WAYW posts feature a new time piece..

A couple of Coppley/Zegna sportcoats (http://www.coppley.com/cc_lbb_zegna.php) and 3 pairs MTM trousers (one single-pleated mid-grey worsted; one double-pleated mid-grey flannel; one single-pleated charcoal -- all to be cuffed)

I snagged this for about $100, not knowing much about it rather than the size and what it looked like (one photo). A gamble, more or less. Yes, it needs to be pressed, badly. It's brand new, never worn. Still has extra buttons and the cuff buttons in the little pouch. It's an unlined linen/wool blend though. I'm still deciding if I'm going to keep it or not....

nataku, you got great taste! i like the shoes, the color and design. they are casual, yet, something you can also wear at a semi-formal event. but that light blue jacket... how did it wind up so crumpled?

C'mon guys. Let's show some holiday spirit, and save a bit of your post-Christmas splurge money to give to the Make-a-Wish Foundation. We are now at nearly $2700. Let's make it a cool $3K+ before the New Year, when the drive ends. Also check out the cool prizes you can win, courtesy of our generous affiliates. Donations can be made via paypal directly to styleforumgives@gmail.com

Cheers,

Fok.

Picked up a Varvatos overcoat today, peak lapel, fits very well through the torso IMO. $300 down from $600 at Nordstrom. Special ordered the Santoni Kerwin boot, should arrive in a few weeks. I'm about to order several Robert Talbot MTM shirts as well.

& today's impulse purchase (that's 2 in 1 week!)

I was on my way to pick up the GO Sport EVO GMT (never can have too many GMTs, also my GMT IIc is still with my ex..) & just could not warm up to the GO SE GMT.. The polished surfaces are too shiny for me & even though the bracelet is a marvel in execution, I just felt conflicted with the round & hard surface design..

So I walked out with something completely unexpected..

JLC AMVOX1 LS in Ti #1xx/1000

Wow the alarm is great, reminds me of the bell at school & the grey/green hue of the Ti is so stealth like (I guess a week of wearing the IWC TG has this effect).

& did the AMVOX1 sing to me!

Well some quick & dirty pics - not the easiest watch face to capture due to the curve & lack of anti-reflection.
