LOL, well, I told my mom when she asked if she could pick anything up, "A nice conservative tie." My wife gives them more specifics for birthdays and Christmas, and they usually go in together for those.

C&J Polo in Cigar Shell Cordovan from eBay (pictures borrowed from seller):

A new pair of AE Strand in Walnut (recently purchased pair was a bit too large / will be on B&S soon);

Oh...and some summer shirts by Aquascutum and Barbera.

I think that's all for now.

I have been looking for something like this for a while now. Plus, according to the seller they are "circa 1985." Which if true, are older than yours truly. Stoked icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Bespoke 6-fold, unlined linen tie. The handwork is not bad, but I think I was too adventurous with the colours. But it did not cost me anything, so I took the chance.

I like the color combo, plus the tail is seen so seldom it won't be glaringly obvious.

Recent purchases for me include two Thomas Pink shirts on sale. Question for SF - does the dislike of Thomas Pink stem from its high price tag (yup), lack of history (kind of cheap to buy the name), or an actual belief the product is crap? The slim fit is perfect for me and their bold stripes are awesome and uncommon, perfect for a college student but not so great for business formal.

That tie is unusual, Strangelove. Where did it come from?

From my local tailor. It was an experiment. Edges are completely handrolled.

Yes, two merino V-necks. I'll snap a pic. And a cashmere V-neck for Mrs NOBD.
