Two more pairs of trousers arrived today. Ebay again.
Brand new Gieves & Hawkes for only £26, and some Gant chinos for 99p, featuring that bizarre little loop I'd never seen before. Had to go look it up..

I've never quite known what to call that pattern either. It's POW like, but not POW and I don't think it's Glenn Plaid either. It's almost like a "multi-line windowpane" but there has to be a better term for it. Still, I like it!

And so the perpetual see-saw of "upped this game, now my other game lags, gotta up that" continues to ensare. Be careful, that way eventually leads to "gotta get some vicuna socks" I jest. Slightly.

A few recent pickups...not normally in the market for an overcoat at this time of year, but it was a good deal and the fit was spot on so I went for it. It's gonna kill me to have to wait until winter to wear it!

This looks fantastic. Do I spy a little linen in the fabric?

Thanks! It's actually 100% cotton, but very light. I've never had a shirt by this brand before but it's really nice. I think they might make for some other labels?

love this. who makes it?

It's Camoshita / United Arrows. I'm impressed with the quality - thick wool, waistband on the back, thick horn buttons, made in Japan. Spur of the moment Yoox pick up, but I think NMWA stocks them as well?

It's glen plaid, but one of the slightly less-frequent version of it.
