First SC, I wanted something with a bit more texture and detail up close. I was also tired of fabric blends in jackets I have previously owned as well as stuff like cotton/poly mix that had very little structure. This jacket is 100% virgin wool, which 1) I am hoping the structure is there with the wool composition and 2) The jacket will be very light and breathe well throughout the day.

If it fits I will be very happy because I was considering much more expensive options. This 'fit the bill' perfectly in terms of what I was looking for, and price redface.gif. Perhaps the texture is not to CM liking, but for a SC in a casual office setting I think it is pretty nice. Bonus, I believe the sleeves are lined, yes!!

Composition: 100% Virgin Wool
Details: flannel, solid color, no appliqués, lapel collar, single-breasted , 2 buttons, single chest pocket, multipockets, long sleeves, buttoned cuffs, dual back vents, semi-lined interior, two inside pockets

edit:
Because it is virgin wool you guys think I can wear this during SS and into FW?

The designation "virgin" is just a quality rating--has nothing to do with weight or breathability or anything. Just about all nice jackets are made of virgin wool.

Anyways, it will completely depend on you and your environment--how hot the summers are, how cold the winters are, how hot you normally run. It looks like that is a pretty open weave and so should be good for spring/summer as long as its not super hot, but there is nothing otherwise inherently summery about it, so it looks like you could get some good use out of it.

Again, it will just depend on you and your situation.

gettoasty - amazing looking SC. pretty much agree with aravenel, it strikes me as more FW looking, but if youre comfortable in it during SS, sure, why not.
