   thank you  . . . . disc code or not that's a great cut

Would you wear something like this, for casual-chic occasions?  Would you even buy something like this?

I like the cut, but is it too childish or baseball-shirt like?

or is this color combo better (less like the color combo of a maid's uniform):

Any advice appreciated, or any ideas of where this design comes from/was inspired by.

Excited about this:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/190873781751?var=490169016302&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649

$240 shipped

I bought an SC from this seller for $100 before, and he included a heavy Corneliani hanger with the purchase (solid wood).

It's not bad, but might be better in street wear and denim? John Smedley is a solid brand for sweaters though.

yeah i suppose it would fit in in streetwear and denim but i think its more casual than sw per se.  do you know what inspires these kinds of designs with contrast sleeves and what have you? the only thing that comes to my mind is a maids uniform with black sleeves and white apron LOL

AYO!

but seriously, you posted it to solicit everyones ideas, and i am saying i do not like it, and would not recommend buying it.

but, if you want to buy it, and then wear it, and then post 600 un-spoilered crappy pics in 25 different threads all across the forum asking people to share feedback on the fit, hell, by all means go for it.

i havent bought it yet LOL my wife says no. she says it looks like a maids uniform.

but i like it but cant really see why i like it.  it doesnt remind me of anything, which is why i asked if anyone has ideas of where they got the idea from for contrast color sleeves.

i mean the idea itself is so crazy for something intended for a fashion-conservative client base, they must have gotten the idea from somewhere, if that makes sense.

the idea is simple. some dude or dudette who works for the company and whose job is it to pump out new design options, formed that shirt in their mind. the design was drawn, and then approved, and then the shirt was manufactured.

its just a shirt. i dont walk into target, or macys, or even RL or EZ or TF, and wonder if every item has a history to its design. because most items dont. they are just the work of a person who is required to come up with new design options because companies need to make new things year in and year out.
