+1

Nice swag, Foxx

The buttoning point on that SC of foxx's is one I've seen referred to as too high. I've got two SC's that both have their point as high as that, above the navel. Is there a point more desirable? Is it just a matter of taste or something about it looking dated if it's too high?

edit: Great looking jacket foxx.

I can't wait till fall/winter. I found an SC that I think would be considered one of the greatest SCs ever posted on SF. Will post pics when I buy it. And no exaggeration; it's crazy drool worthy.

Surprisingly not. Flannel wool. I'd psa it, but I don't want my size to sell out. You're a 40R, correct?

depends on the body of the wearer, and different people like different buttoning points.

I like a higher button stance but then I'm tall @ 6'3 and high-waisted, so it tends to balance out my vertical proportions. I don't care about "dated" in the sense that as long as the jacket is a classic to start, I don't think the button stance changes that. In other words, the button stance is the least likely aspect to "date" a jacket (in my eyes) versus lapels, length, color/pattern, etc.

anytime. smile.gif

thanks! I think it is a bit higher but seems to work on my frame much better than low button stance, which throws everything outta whack on me. I think the shoulders will look softer on me than the pic, as well-- can't wait to wear this with jeans, a higher collared Italian spread collar white shirt, tan suede shoes.
