I knew just by looking at that blank collar strap/loop. Most Carusos have that.

Damn, you are right. I thought the cuff buttons would throw anyone off. I had my tailor do them.

Gearing up for summer.

Avi Rossini hosiery (via Malford of London):

A pair of luxurious Brioni cotton gabardine trousers

A pair of Canali car shoes in gray nubuck

A Canali dress shirt with grape and white bengal stripes

A silk tie by Drake's of London in seasonal apple green (via Exquisite Trimmings)

A navy canvas gym bag

A lilac and cream polka dot tie by Hackett

A cotton-silk hankie in cream and burgundy

Some shoe care products from Valmour

A gorgeous Sartoria Partenopea dress shirt via Ich_Dien

A Polo hoodie in "university yellow."

Some light summer #MENSWEAR reading from Exquisite Trimmings

And a Swedish alternative for The Rake

Finally, some not-so-light summer reading

Not seen: A pair of Canali white cotton-linen dress trousers, which are being cuffed as I write.

Clark, Milano is too snug for me and I prefer a straight leg style generally. I also decided on these over the J Lawrence I had purchased earlier as my every day workplace chino. Not on quality alone, as the J Lawrence is far superior in material and construction, but based on the ability to sit in the BB Clarks for a few hours and still feel my legs. The J Lawrence will remain a valued piece in my wardrobe, just not for extended sitting activities.
