The collar was made to my specifications. Unfused and lightly lined. They did a good job.

It is a nice collar, NOBD.

Since I broke a toe about 6 weeks ago, my running has been replaced with trail biking (we don't have mountains in Florida, trails and occasional hills are as good as it gets) and I needed some new gear for out in the dirt.

Shimano MT43 shoes

Fox "Sergeant" shorts in grey. I've got the Khaki already and these are, hands down, the best shorts for biking and almost any other outdoor activity - $100 well spent.

...and then went small time nuts on Malford's latest batch of Avi Rossini OTC socks; was hoping for wool/nylon, but the cottons looked so good that I caved. Stocked up on a range of cream/beige that I've been lacking and one nice heathered grey that I don't need but coudn't resist.

I'm a sucker for a nice pair of socks, and I tend to grab 'em when they pop up and toss 'em in a drawer. They're inexpensive enough to not make a dent and nice enough to be very rewarding when I finally need them and pull them out. Ahhh, the simple things....

+1. It's always a great feeling to have nice new socks, cotton can sometimes get a bad rap, but they do make great socks! I prefer it to wool even.

Interesting. My only cotton experience has been with lesser brands, so I'm looking forward to giving these a shot at changing my mind. I'm pretty sure they will bring me 'round.
