Mid-grey flannel is great.

My July purchases:
Brown Gucci lace captoes
Sartoria Partenopea DB topcoat
Brioni jeans in a dark indigo
Two T&A shirts
Two pairs of Cucinelli pants
Armani SC (meh, only sz 36 at SFA that looked decent on me)
Pink striped RLPL shirt
Gambert bespoke shirt in an interesting colorful gingham
White linen pocket square with an interesting button embellishment (not sure how much I like this look)

I should ban myself from buying things in August, but there are definitely a few other essentials on the list.

VASS F Last 5 eyelet blucher in dark brown pebble grain

@Spoo, yes, only grey for me. I have been able to figure out blue though I have 3 solid navy suits. What shoes/shirt to wear with them, I have always been more comfortable with grey since light blue shirts work perfectly with them as do dark brown suede shoes

you are correct. grey is easier than blue

I like navy more than gray, rock it with light blue shirt and suede shoes at all times.

Thats interesting, as I find navy and grey 99% of the time interchangeable.

I personally don't like outfits which are too blue. E.g. Navy suit, light blue shirt is too blue for me. So I have to wear a white shirt with navy suit and I am not a great fan of white shirts.

Also I have never been comfortable with brown shoes with navy suits. I know it can be done well, I have seems lots of people doing it and looking swell and for reason I can't pull it off.

Grey looks great in all shades but with navy a slight change of shade makes it look purplish. I will post a pic of my 3 suits and though all of them are supposed to be navy none of them are the perfect navy for me.

Thanks,

You have done well for the price. They look fine - polish 'em up, wear 'em to your interviews, keep your eye on the soles - they will need attention after some wear. They are THE classic interview shoe - well done young man.
