They are usually listed for around $2,500 but from memory they usually fetch around the $1,500 mark.
Quite a fascinating story behind them. They're all unique and made by the same guy.
I managed to find that one on eBay for Â£180. The side panels were missing so I took it into Dunhill. They sourced an artist who worked with that particular resin and it took about 2 weeks to finish off the work.
The mechanical repair and the replacement panels ran me about Â£350.
The work is so good you'd never know the difference. The fact that Dunhill went to that much trouble for me is really commendable.
