indeed, those look simply stunning. still, i think there is what to be said for neats and macclesfields being tipped. its a different look, more formal and sturdy. all my panta, borrelli and marinella neats are tipped.

its a very soft and delicate touch. i happen to love it on grenadines and softer silks. as SD said, it lends to a more handmade look.
I think it's a nice artistic sartorial flourish. If you're going bespoke Hober, go all the way and get something that doesn't look like you bought it OTR. The repp stripe, while nice, looks no different (to me) than a tie you can pickup at a 346 outlet.
