In fact the windows (although not the view) were one of the attractions of the new apartment I bought last summer. The building dates from 1911 and represents Helsinki Jugendstil (the building is located quite close to this one where my alterations tailor and Caruso supplier is located).

My Galaxy Nexus camera didn't do the best job of handling the combination of artificial and natural light, so the colors aren't the best. The shirt and the first two ties are the closest to how they actually look.

Navy with gray stripe. Very soft, natural shoulder. (Is "shirtsleeve" shoulder still used?) Pants are flat front with cuffs.

Light blue with dark blue and pink stripes. Spread collar. Originally had button cuffs but they ordered double cuffs and attached them at the store before shipping.

Pocket squares. The colors are way off here. Top is white and orange with blue. The bottom one you can see better in the next picture of the ties.

All ties are seven fold. The tie on the left in the first picture is unlined silk. The second is silk with lining. In the second picture the one in the middle is linen. The one on the right is also unlined silk (and it is more orange than pink).

Just won this 7 fold Cappelli on eBay. I was taking stock/culling ties last weekend and it dawned on me I didn't own a yellow tie. Now I do.

Congrats, was watching the auction. Good price on those!

Decided to post a recent purchase, figured I've lurked far too much confused.gif

Custom DB using Magee tweed and some vintage silk. Close up shows the colours better.

Thanks! I've been on a bit of a Cappelli binge lately. That yellow one, two from Murder Ave Ties, and two on the way from Linkson Jack, for 5 Cappellis in the last month.

Their old store was a standalone right next to the Crystals mall at City Center. That's where they were when I first started shopping there. It was a pretty large space with huge windows and great natural lighting. Since it was so large they were able to space the products out pretty nicely and it was a comfortable store to look around. They have since moved inside the mall and have a pretty small space without any natural light. The clothes feel like they are sort of shoe horned into the space. However, I think they're doing a lot better with purchasing because I liked a lot more of what they had to offer. I'll try to get a fit picture when I finally have a reason to wear it. They really didn't have to do too much alteration, I could pretty much be the model for the EUR 58R.

I've got 5 of them now. 4 are in cotton, all great summer jackets for kicking about in. They seem to fit me perfectly in 42, so one of those I can just order online without worry.
Not too keen on the new look logo though. Much prefer the plin black discreet of old.

I also just bought a Caruso light blue herringbone summer weight SC
Drake's madder silk tie
Kiton burgundy pin stripe DC shirt
Drumohr pique polo shirt
Blue and coral hexagons PS and another 2 lapel pins from Vand A

Just received the borrelli pants, cuffed at 34, so in the tailors to redo.

I would love to see the lapel pins in action. Was highly considering buying them.

I thought everyone here lived in oxfords, derbies and loafers. Nice colorway.
