Just bought a Navy Cashmere/Wool blend Sartorio Napoli jacket. It seems that I have Navy jackets in Mohair, silk, wool, cotton and linen, but no Cashmere/wool. What was I thinking?

Probably going to pickup a few Isaia jackets to fill in odd gaps in the wardrobe.

Also have a pair of MTM Chelsea's due this month.

If there's a decent bonus this year (big if) I may buy a Glashutte Original Senator Sixties in White gold. low chance of that happening though.

See, this is one of those times, when it would be quite helpful, if people wrote their location the the little box next to the avetar...I know its considered by some as very cool not to, but...

I know of plenty places that sell them, but since I have no idea where you are, that is pretty useless information...

couple of new items, i guess when the card comes out to purchase xmas gifts, it is a little easier to part with some $$$ for things to add to your own wardrobe!

Have been on the hunt for a rain coat, which would be generally minimalist in appearance, nice cut, and could be worn with either tailored clothing or casualwear-- yet would not be heavy or have a lot of buttons to get caught on stuff, etc. Found my raincoat nirvana at the tysons Saks store yesterday, when I found this one-- only Armani item I own, loved it from the moment I tried it on. pix from the saks website of the same model:

Sweater from the 40% off sale at zegna store, to feed my new camel-colored-stuff addiction

new style book and wallet (birthday gifts), and a new shirt from the NM sale

oh, and as a sidenote-- the nordstrom style book isn't as good as the Details book, which I find myself referring to more and more for modern takes on formal and casual style ideas.

Vintage(80's) Alden Black Tassel Loafers #660, uppers and inner sole look new, sole and heels are good, $34! I sized up on that last and it was the right decision, they feel great with no sliding. Finally solved my problem with this typically uncomfortable last unless the shell tassel fits differently. A pair of #660 sold in my normal size for $100 and they aren't even close to the condition mine are despite the lofty advertising.
