Crocket & Jones Westbourne vs. Westfield

Hi everyone! (Pardon the spelling error, can't edit titles...)

I'm looking to add a C&J black punch cap toe to my work rotation. Barney's had the Westbourne but not the Westfield, so I couldn't see the Westfield unfortunately. How would you compare the two lasts (341 & 348)? From what I've researched so far, Westfield's last is supposed to be shorter and stockier. Just how much more stocky is the Westfield - i.e. is it still relatively sleek and elegant? As long as it is reasonably elongated, I may prefer the Westfield since the more unusual shape of Westbourne may draw a bit too much attention - although Westbourne does look quite stunning I have to say. Thank you!

348 is more contemporary. I purchased a pair of Sydney's over the internet on the 341 last, and was dissapointed by how old-mannish the last looked in person. They went back for refund promptly. I would just get the westbourne and forget about the other one if I were you.

Have you checked c&J French and English sites? Should be pictures of both.

Expecting delivery this week of a pair of Westbourne ordered from P. Lal. I passed on a pair of Westfield I saw listed on ebay not too long ago, with mild regret since... While you can't confuse the 348 and 341, I'm not ready to entirely dismiss the 341 as old-mannish. Mind you, I haven't had the priviledge of seeing either one in person yet. Here are some pics I kept of the Westfield, I'll let you decide:

Revisiting my old posts. I now own 3 pairs of C&J shoes, all in black. They are Belgrave, Saville and Clifford. I am thinking to add the Audley in black as well. The 3 pairs have held up very well, although some of them have scratches, some quite deep, generally in the toe area. Hopefully they can be treated when I start sending in the shoes to C&J for reconditioning. Cheers!

I've been sticking mainly to the US stores such as RL, Barneys, and Ben Silver. Whatever they advertise they have in stock. Unfortunately it appears that most UK online stores may advertise a number of models but they generally they do not have a lot of stock and there maybe a long wait.
