I wouldn't say it was bad, just very odd. Mac's wooden teeth were great though. I think the funniest part was when it cuts back to the three of them acting out the story with the aid of some improvised props from the office and the historical society lady just loses it.

I'm usually a big fan of gimmick episodes, but the show's been weak lately and this episode was no exception.

I actually liked the Liberty Bell ep. I loved how they would go in and out of character within the same scene. At the end the bit about Dee flying on a broom and then cutting to Dennis pretending to fly had me rolling on the floor.

Last week's "Extreme Makeover" ep was ******* fantastic although after the credit card sequence it seemed to die fast and I was waiting for the obvious punchline.

His faced painted white and him doing the voice of the British was pretty good.

They need to introduce and develop more recurring characters. Not necessarily every episode or full season type characters, but multi episode story arch type characters. They are rehashing too many of the same story lines with the waitress and cricket.

I think part of the problem is the show has a bigger budget now, so they are using that to develop crazier and bigger plots. They were good in the early seasons because they had no budget or star (DeVito), so they had to make it work with nothing more than a handful of characters, a few extras, and a bar set and an apartment set.

The used to build up and hold on to the crazy insane **** for the season finales, but now we get it every episode.

And Dennis showing how his shorts were more authentic and gave him greater freedom of movement: brilliant.

I agree.
It was just "okay" at best.

Gas Crisis was one of my favorite episodes of all time, though. As good as the first couple episodes of season one.

I laughed quite a bit during the finale. Kinda helped that I was a bit tipsy though.

Gotta pay the troll toll to get into the boy's hole lol.
