Anyone know the name of this Barbour model?

how does one decide which sites are real vs. fake barbour? It seems some places have the jackets for much less than others. I'm interested in the Terrence jacket which is 500 at Orvis but:

I'm about to order these off of Country Attire, and I just want to do one last check about the sizing before I pull the trigger. I'm short and somewhat skinny: 5' 6" with a 36" chest. I'm looking for a good slim, but not extremely boxy fit. I'm planning to go with the 32 or the 34 size jacket, but I measured myself and everything down to 30 will fit (but I get 4" tolerance in the chest for the latter).

 

Any opinions on which to pick? Sizes posted below:

The things that affect the overallt look and fit are sleeve length, and the length of the entire jacket. Those will be your main concerns.

 

If you're short then the sleeves might not be a problem for you as it was for me, but jacket length will definitely be more important than chest size.

Agreed - bear in mind the jacket is designed to be 'boxy' so sleeves are short for the chest width.

Some one reported that the jacket he received was not made in England.
The one I received was made in England.

Wait, is this possible? They can do this? Anyone have experience with it?

Main reason I am hesitant to pull the trigger is sleeve length. I'm 6'6" with fairly long arms. Would get the 44 and need them to accommodate my sleeves at around 36/37. Can't stand a jacket that is too short in this area.

I'd also remove that front patch as soon as I got it, but that's just me. Hate branding.

Yeah, they can totally do that. They can do all sorts of things. I once had a Beaufort that I wanted to have cuffs like the Bedale instead and they were willing to do that as well...though I never did end up sending it in actually.

Thanks for the heads up on that International deal, that is pretty crazy. Really bummed that some (all?) are no longer made in England. I'm hoping that maybe some still are and I'll get lucky with one of those or an old stock one, who knows. For $188 shipped it's hard to complain either way really. Hope the sizing works out.

I'm really interested right now that I know as long as I get the body sizing right, I can always have the sleeve length fixed.

I like the overall look of the jacket, minus the patch. It may kill any vintage appeal in the long term, but I think I would remove it. That and black is not normally a color I go for since I wear mostly shades of brown, but with some proper aging to the waxy cloth it should pair well with the rest of my fits.

Do most of you wear the jacket with or without the belt? Does the fit still feel slim when worn without the belt on?
