Every time I go here I shake my head in disbelief that your all not wearing Football jerseys and or Harley Davidson T-shirts, with a pair of baggy jeans. That makes you all homo's.

The same could be said as to women who don't dress up at all and or wear men's clothing, their thought of as gay.

That's bullshit. Wearing a sports coat , trousers (not jeans !), a button down collared shirt , and oxford lace-up bluchers for instance is not dressing up. It is casual wear. I don't care if many morons today in the world do not understand this. It is still the truth. Wearing jeans is for knocking a ball around in the park or changing the oil on your car or something of that nature. Jeans are not for public consumption. Please stop giving idiotic advice to people here. A man is not 'dressed up' unless he is wearing a suit or formal wear.

It's the proletariat (working class) that thinks middle class and upper class dress etc... is effeminate. Who cares what they think unless you are a prole yourself ? If more American males think that dressing properly (not like a slob) means you are gay today all that means is there has been a proletarianization (prole drift) of society at large. So one should definitely try to buck this trend with all their might and not follow the masses unless you are a working class prole . _

Well, I don't think I dress good enough that someone would think I'm gay. Personally if I ever see a well dressed guy my first thought isn't "must be gay". It's usually "damn, I want a jacket like that!". With most gay men you can kind of figure it out by looking at them. Not saying all gay men dress alike, it has more to do with mannerism and voice. If you're not effeminate, I don't know why some would jump to the conclusion you're gay just because you're well dressed. Then again, wearing things like an ascot or tight jeans always strike me as being somewhat effeminate.

The "why are you dressed up?" bit is just as bad. I think the best way to respond to that is to act arrogant and say "why are you dressed down? I'm not over dressed. You're all under dressed". Try to say it with a sense of contempt.

No one has ever called me gay (homosexual) for dressing the way I do. I think gay men probably care more about fashion and not timeless male style. I dress in timeless (maybe even archaic) male style rather than cutting edge fashion. Maybe that is why I have never been called a homosexual for not dressing like a slob. I think since I do not follow bleeding edge fashion trends but only dress in timeless male styles it actually makes me look like a wise and stable person that is not prone to flights of fancy and fits of fashion. It does not make me look like a homosexual. __

I suggest you get a girlfriend. And do you wear a sportcoat to the grocery store? Maybe thats why people think your light in the loafers. I have more of a problem with people thinking Im coming from a golf course or a tennis match. LOL
