Anyone else quitting eBay? - Page 2

Side question but when I send money from a purchase on the board using Paypal is there a "best" way to select the reason for transaction. I believe it says Good/Services, Ebay or other if I remember correctly.

Anyone know if I select something if that ends up charging fellow SF users more money?

Number of good listings on ebay decreased dramatically in a last 8-12 months. I cannot find anything good there anymore. Prices are high or higher than retail in some cases. I have no idea why Ebay managment are trying to fire themsleves?

I pretty well buy everything from Amazon or B&M merchants, but the used thong trade around here is pretty dicey so that's most of my ebay purchases these days.

Bump for an old thread since I don't want to start a new one.

I have to return the last four items I purchased off of eBay

A pair of pants I bought has stains on them (not in pictures) and one side has weird hem stitching (the other side has no stitching)

A sportcoat I bought has what appears to be a five inch long red marker stain on the sleeve (not in description or pictures)

Another sportcoat has frayed edges and rips all over (again not in description/pictures)

A tie I purchased has ink stains in two places. (could not see in pics)

I will be refunded for all of this, but it is a pain to have to ship all this crap! All items were described as excellent "like new" condition.

I'll stick with buy/sell and new I suppose.
