Belfort can knock out anybody in the world, but slows down considerably after the first few rounds. If the fight makes it to round 3, Weidman is a cinch to win. I think Weidman weathers Belfort's early storm, smothers him, and wins by fourth-round submission. Rumble has proven to be the most dangerous stand-up fighter in the LHW division. Cormier wants no part of it. Look for Cormier to close the distance early and often, clinch with Rumble, and turn the fight into a wrestling match. Cormier by unanimous decision.
I'm fairly stoked, and have pretty much the same predictions. I think that one thing that Weidman does incredibly well, and this is never talked about, is his ability to stay at distance. In his second fight with Anderson Silva, he was actually hitting Anderson and making Anderson miss. Belfort is a KO artist, but he does it either with a flash flurry, or when the other guy is standing still (see Luke Rockhold). I look to see Weidman frustrate that with volume of his own. Submission though? I dunno. I can more easily see this finish via TKO or be a UD.
I also have Cormier, but I think that Rumble might have that ability to KO guys who are shooting take down via massive elbows. If it passes round 2, they yes, UD for sure, or maybe even TKO via ground and pound.
