I know Diaz is going to bring it. I am not sure who will win but Diaz will push the pace of that fight. I think ol'Johny boy is going to beat carlos by KO.

I am sure who will win. GSP. The only chance Diaz has is to sucker GSP into a brawl. Not gonna happen.

He told me back in the late 90's he has a civil suit against him for assault. He made it sound like it whupped some dudes ass when in fact the civil suit was from the girl that was trained. The internet wasn't like it is now so I thought nothing of it. I knew when the Camp Spring's Gym opened he was getting a little kookie. That's when he wanted to be called Master . I bowed out when he wouldn't pay for his key fighters/instructors health insurance. Now Ryan Hall and others are coming forward. I spoke with Mike Fowler about some serious shit between his wife and Lloyd. That's part of the reason Fowler left the camp. When Rhadi posted he wanted nothing to do with Lloyd that's when I knew everything said was true because those two were tight. His agreement with Alliance is over. With out Mike Easton he has no access to the UFC anymore. Poor Mike Easton is stuck. This shit is FUCKED UP!

Damn, that is fucked up. Interesting personal insight on the matter.

Maybe, Diaz is tough as hell and will actually try for a finish every round. His boxing is more effective then people tend to give him credit for too.
But I do see a lot of GSP takedowns followed by masterful maintaining of top control.

I was actually surprised that LV odds are favouring JH. I'm going: GSP, Condit, Ellenberger, Ring.

Diaz definitely got under GSP's skin and it will be an good fight regardless. I, personally, am not a Diaz fan, but his ground game is unique and solid, looking forward to the exchanges there. As a side note Roop looked positively malnourished at the weigh-in and Arianny is looking progressively more plasticized and injected with each passing fight.

GSP won't let Diaz get into his riddum and will take him down at will. I haven't been this excited for a card in a while.

I wasn't paying much attention to the lead up to this but I'm watching the pre-fight on DirecTV and I'm getting excited.

The only certainties in life are death, taxes, and a GSP UD.

Hopefully Johny will put an end to that. I am not sure Anderson is a smart fight for GSP. I would like to see Johny get a crack at him first.

Someone should have told Diaz about the taxes part.

Hendricks has a very sneaky left hand that he leaps into and appears to throw from his waist. He used it to catch Fitch and Kampmann, and would have caught Condit if Condit had a lesser chin. That said, he is giving up a lot of reach to GSP. I think GSP successfully avoids the left until Hendricks gasses, then uses takedowns and top control to win the fight. GSP by UD again.

I'm a big Diaz fan, but I was unimpressed by his performance. He seemed completely befuddled that GSP was able to counter his wakigatame strategy, even though GSP is one of the most cerebral and analytical fighters in the game. He didn't even change his tactic after he discovered it was ineffective. I was frustrated at his lack of offense, just like in the last rounds of the Condit fight, but I still think retirement is the wrong move. He needs a better coach/camp.

Diaz will never train at another camp. It's just not in his nature, and he wouldn't be able to operate anywhere else in any case. His unorthodox style is what makes him exciting to watch. But despite his protestations to the contrary, his insistence on training the same way for every opponent, and for refusing to work with a team to develop specific skills and implement a specific game plan for a specific opponent, will relegate him to a talented fighter who will always have exploitable weaknesses, and he will be continually defeated by smarter, more disciplined, fighters who have his same level of skill. This is what happened in his last two outings against top ten opponents who refused to be drawn into toe-to-toe brawl.
