Going to the Expo on Friday and waiting for the scalpers to freak out before going to the fight on Saturday.
Who's going to be there?

Picks for tonight? What a great card! GSP Aldo Machida Brilz (I like Matyushenko but I don't see him doing it) Ben Henderson

Steven Segal walking in with Machida... he can't possibly lose now.

No can defend.

Nate Diaz got his ass whipped in the pre-fights.

Picks in late but I'll take Jose and GSP (shocking I know)

Amazing KO by the Dragon. It does my heart good to see TMA techniques succeed in the Octagon.

Hominick looking like The Hills Have Eyes

Great fight there. Featherweights always bring a real show.

GSP looked tentative. Not a good defense for him. Maybe he had some serious nerves.

+1. He had a head growing out of his head. Loved this card. Good to know Aldo is human at least in the 5th round. Good going Matuyshenko (sp?) Good damn KO.

Just got back from the fight. Walked around looking for a cab for a good 2 hours but it was very interesting to say the least.

Noticed a dude wearing a white shirt that had "YES YES YES" on it and I thought of Diego and it turns it was him! Walking beside him was BJ Penn. Diego was drunk and could barely walk. Got to a hotel to try to hail a cab and Anderson Silva, Nog, and Jon Jones was there. Ended up riding a cab back home with Belfort's and Penn's agent. Sick night.

Overall it was an ok card. Lots of hype around it and not enough bite. Gsp/Shields was the worst match I've seen since Anderson fought that Leite guy back in Chicago. As an ex-bjj guy, much love to it, but they need to stop matching strikers against fighters with ground game as their foundation. Shields looked like a 15 year old trying to fight a grown ass man.

I don't know who expected Shields to hang with GSP. I didn't, I don't see how Shields was even given a round honestly.
yeah, none of the rounds were remotely close, let alone two of them. the was one of GSP's most lack lustre performances, but he still took all five with ease.
