A. Chaser: I hope Chuck retires. He can still make money as a credible fighter without getting KO'd again.

LA Guy: Yes I saw the Hendo fight, look forward to the rematch. And I think if you go back and read my post you will notice that we agree on the Tito issue. I still think it would be fun in the opposite way of why I thought the Griffin would be fun, then again I also thought Griffin would try for a takedown early on.

I think Hendo has the best chance, an iron chin is a pre-requisite when eating precision strikes to get a takedown attempt.

I would too. Tito by KO. He's see it done enough times now that he ought to be able to put it together. But I think that they are both wankers, so my perfect conclusion would have Tito jumping up the fence in celebration, overshooting, and knocking himself out.

I'd like the see Big Nog take either AS or Machida (AS would be more entertaining) in a "Master vs. Student" showdown.

Rumors' gaining traction that AS will be cemented in the LHW giving his belt up for grabs. So it could happen.

Hmmm... so he would effectively retire his belt? Or be "MW Champion for life"? I don't see him relinquishing the title just like that... Plus, it would hurth the legitimacy of the MW title: "This is the belt for second best MW fighter."

It makes sense. Just like in boxing, you would have to vacate your title if you want to move up.

Florian definitely did piss himself. There's no denying that gif file. You can clearly see piss come out from his shorts.

It's the right direction for the UFC IMO. You can't have someone move up and then take the belt with them. Talk about blunders. You have one guy so dominant in his weight class that there's no one he realistically fight. He has to move up leaving the MW belt and face bigger guys, as that's what the fans want. This way a new linear champ would be made in MW and if the person is dominant enough they can make the same move Anderson Silva is making and so on. Becoming more and more like boxing.

It was a piece of string from his shorts. He was wearing a cup.

I agree with everything daft outlined already. There are no MW fighters who pose a threat or would bring in a big crowd. All the big draw fighters are in the LHW div. including the possible Machida matchup. Which would for the foreseeable future would have to be a title match.

+1

They represent an end of a meat headed era.
