Haw haw haw! The Giants are shaping up to be last year's Cowboys, and vice versa.

If you ask nicely, I'm sure Demarcus Ware will oblige you sekshually.

One was necessary, not three. You'll get no argument from me on the wasted draft opportunity. Clady was taken with the pick after the one we traded to Atlanta in the first round; Calais Campbell was around when we picked in the second; and so on. I blame Gibbs, in part, because he had no plan for the future, it was all about winning now, hence all the money (and picks) to old vets like Brunnell, Kendall, Hall, etc. Personnel wasn't his strong suit (that was Bobby Bethard) and he was dependent on Cerrato and Synder (God help us) for those decisions.

Sammy Baugh has died. I'm sad.

RIP Slingin' Sammy Baugh, one of the greatest passers in the history of the league.

Piss poor end to a disappointing season.

Draft needs, in order. DL, OL, LB, RB.

Couple things: Get rid of Jason Taylor (sucks), Sean Springs (overpaid), Randle El (sucks). That'll free up some money to get some better Oline and Dline. I'm still on the fence about Zorn because I think Campbell is just not a good QB. He strikes me as scared and dumb, and it reflects in our atrocious offense. Tyler Thigpen, Joe Flacco, Matt Ryan, Shaun Hill, heck even Tarvaris Jackson put up better numbers. Campbell stands in the pocket forever (yes, even when we're playing the Bengals and Campbells got loads of time) and will not take chances. I'm tired of seeing dumpoffs or screens on 3rd and 8 for a three yard gain.

Colt Brennan '09 I say.

How about we give the young quarterback some continuity first? Give him another year under the same system (that means keep Zorn too), if he still blows then get a new QB. I personally, like Zorn alot and would like to see him stay.
I swear Campbell became drastically worse during the course of the season. Toward the beginning of the season, he sat in the pocket, stepped up when needed, and threw it away when nothing was there. That was when no one could sack him. How many times was he sacked over the second half of the season? He had that deer-in-the-headlights look like Reche Caldwell a couple years ago with the Pats.

And once again, with that said, I'll leave you with the following:
E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!

The Redskins have signed Albert Haynesworth to a $100 million/7-year deal. I know Haynesworth is supposed to be the best DT in the NFL, but we've been down this road before. See Dan Wilkinson, Dana Stubblefield.
^The only reason Stubblefield was so good was because Bryant Young was doing most of the pass rushing and getting double teamed. Haynesworth is good though. I'd like to see some more drafted players turn out good for the skins.
We could get Chris Canty from the Cowboys for 1/2 the price and comparable impact. So, the Skins have learned nothing from their past forays into free agency. Between Hall and Haynesworth, we're $155 m over 7 years, still have no impact #2 receiver, need O-Line help, only have 4 picks, and still need D-Line help. Oh, did I mention that Campbell's contract comes due and even if he's not the guy, they'll have to pay someone to be the guy at QB, plus we need linebacking? Excuse me while I gouge my eyes out with a tablespoon.

Redskins actively pursuing trade for Jay Cutler

I just knew that Danny couldn't help himself when another big name became available. Most likely end scenario is that the Redskins don't have enough to give Denver and Campbell is pissed off just like Cutler was. Alternatively, the Redskins give away the store for Cutler and screw themselves in the draft for the next several years.

Danny should work on fixing Six Flags. There's no way I would trade Campbell, which means they'll probably trade him. If this team had an O-line they'd be dangerous.
