He didn't do much other than hone his stalking skills, and I wouldn't have let him kill the poor thing either way, since it was contained inside the fence it wouldn't have been a fair fight. It ended up getting out a few minutes later.

Beautiful cat..

Thanks. Several people that have seen him in person have asked if it was a male or female. I thought he was one of those cats you could obviously tell was a male satisfied.gif

Can someone with experience adopting a cat/kitten PM me? I've had a few dogs but never a cat. With my current lifestyle/apartment, a cat is much more practical. Thanks!

Ok, why is it that dogs are considered a more masculine pet than cats? Cats are MADE for men: they require little maintenance, just a bit of food every day. They don't have to go out, they don't necessarily have to be given tons of attention all the time... Cats are independent and just kind of "exist" in an apartment, making them ideal for guys. Whereas dogs, while seemingly somehow more masculine (like, why, for hunting?..) are extremely high maintenance, needy (albeit cute and lovable and loyal etc), and you cannot leave them for even 12 hours alone at a time without someone having to walk them. So my assessment is that cats are certainly not "just" for gay men, but any man who is busy and still wants a bit of snuggles and animal company from time to time (who won't drink all the beer in the fridge and then puke in your toilet...) marchal.gif

Cats are not as needy as dogs and that is suiting me..

If dogs didn't need to be walked , I would have one ..

Me too. Instead, I have a Maine Coon that measures 1m from nose to tail so it's as close as I could get.

That's a pretty amazing cat. Wouldn't mind one of those myself.
