Got this yesterday. The FURminator. It's amazing how much loose undercoat hair it takes out. Enough to make another cat.

Does your cat like this kind of brush?

Yeah he likes it. Not as much as the slicker brush though. Be warned that you and the immediate surroundings will be covered in fur if you use it.

I don't have a lot of experience with cats, but my GF does, and she agrees with you.

The female tabby we just put down had it too. Every morning, when I came out of the bathroom and would go to get dressed, she would run over to smell my clean feet and liked to rub her head on them. She'd then do that "shrimping" thing cats do on the floor. Almost every morning for over 11 years, lol. That was the only time of day though. Did not have a foot fetish the rest of the day. I figure it was my soap.
