Hot soup for, summer without, air conditioning - Page 2

I was in Boston in June and it was over 100 degrees. My buddy and I went to Pho Pasteur and ordered the super large bowl of noodle soup. I demolished mine....took a lot of water...but I was proud. My friend. who in thinner than me, but eats like a beast, could not get the job done. Of course he had a breakfast buffet earlier. Also...many offices keep the AC blasting making people order soup fairly often from what I can see!

Soup is not so enjoyable when it's 90 degrees and humid outside. Perfect time to enjoy soup, Pho in particular, is in the fall.

Have you ever tried eating a bowl of ice cream, warmed?

I enjoy chili in the summertime. Thats sort of like soup. But less watery. Out of the best brands of pre-made chili at my local grocery store is Stagg Steakhouse Chili with no beans. Anything else in this vein that I should try? I'm generally averse to beans in chili, by the way.

Um... what's chili without beans? low quality meat of questionable origin? You should come to my island.

You should try some menudo. You can sweat from the heat, the piquancy, and the horror.

Its high quality chili with no filler, actually. Beans are put in to substitute for meat, when you don't have enough money to afford it.
