Rate my fantasy football team - Page 7

Would not have thought to find a fantasy football thread around here.

16 man league, drafted 16th:

Cutler
Peterson, Slaton, Lewis, Sproles, Hightower, Thomas
Marshall, Holmes, Welker, Meachum, Ginn
Scheffler
Prater
Chicago.

Obviously I did some trading to get AP, and I've got too many Denver players. But I'm off to a 4-0 start at least.

Awesome team, especially for a 16-man draft. I'd say "trade Cutler," since he's got a tough playoff schedule, but trading QBs is tough in a one QB league.

yea so after this week, nobody has a spot locked in on my team that is set in stone. i have been too faithful to my top draft picks, when i have guys who should get the start, and i know should get the start.

Who are you benching and who are you starting?

Man, I need 70 points from Brees, Bush & Moore to keep my undefeated streak alive. If LT just would have got that goal line touchdown and if the freaking Bills defense could have gotten me more than 0 points...

one league i had gore and barber ahead of slaton. i told this forum + all my friends who i talk fantasy with about how hes my #2 guy this week, only behind peterson, then i go ahead and bench him. also upset with starting deshaun jackson over mushin in that same team. im not being results oriented looking back on this. i knew they shouldve played but just didnt put them in

I have LT in another league, and I'm desperately trying to move him. He seems slowed by the toe, and the man has carried the rock 300 times seven years in a row.

This year is the end of the "LT = #1" era. I wish I could move him for AP or Gore.

just got proposed a trade that is extremely close imo. MY TEAM (relevant positions) WR: Brandon Marshall Deshaun Jackson Torry Holt Muhammad Colston Vincent Jackson RB: Frank Gore Marion Barber Slaton guy just proposed barber for T. Owens straight up? ye or ne?

My answer would depend on how many WRs and RBs make up a starting line-up in your league. . . (Assuming 3 WRs and 2 RBs I'd say no. Wait to see how Colston performs once he gets back on the field.)
yea 2 rb and 3 wr. ryan grant is also on waivers if that matters any.
I`m not feeling your receivers...
so u think i should make the trade??? pretty sure that would be the #1 and #2 wr's (arguably) in the league +colston and holt. still left with gore, slaton, and possibly ryan grant (im 7 on waivers)

Any flex? If not, take the trade and go with TO, Colston, and Marshall; and Gore and Slaton by Week 8. That's a scary lineup.

Here's one for everyone to consider. 10-man league, 1QB/2WR/2RB/1TE, with a W/R flex. Terrible draft for me...inviting the gf over before a draft doesn't bode well for your team. Hasselbeck/Palmer (whoever scores less, apparently =/ ) Wayne Cotchery LT McGahee Cooley Slaton on bench: Holmes, Schaub, Mewelde Moore. I've got an offer of Favre and Bush for Slaton. This league is RB-heavy: not only is it PPR, we also get .5 per rush attempt. Usual stuff otherwise: 6 for a TD, 1 per 10 yards, etc. The trade's great on paper, but in this league you NEED three stud RBs. My main hangup: the waiver wire is full of spot-start QBs (Delhomme, Orton, JTO are some...I snagged Hasselbeck off waivers) but there are ZERO RBs available. Lower QB1s have little value here.
